I'm not a big fan of Live LPs but with this one I'll make an exception! I have no idea how it could happen that I didn't find out about THE WEAKERTHANS sooner than last fall in NYC - or better fall in Love with their music. I saw them after all in 2004 but didn't like their stuff at all. What was wrong with me back than? Now they have a Live Album which was recorded on the very same Tour I saw in NYC. I just read at cathzengeballer, that the german magazin Brigitte will - from january 2o1o on - no longer do their fashion and beauty shoots with professional/skinny models. Average women like you and me will replace them instead. Average in its best meaning of course.

Back in 2oo2 when I was living in OH I had this crush on a guy. I remember this moment when we were driving and listening to that Lifehouse song and he kept looking at me and than we got off road. No big deal in Ohio. So he just pulled the steering-wheel over and said "Back on the Road again" and he had that smile and the way he smelled. So good. And I can still hear him saying it.
It was a teenage-crush but whenever I hear that song I think of him and that moment. I don't even have a photo of him. All I have is this CD. His CD. I never gave it back because I wanted to keep something that once had belonged to him. Take a small part with me.

Ha! So my friend calls me yesterday and goes "hey girl, did you go to the Fest Van Cleef Festival like two weeks ago" and I go like "yeah why" and she goes "what kinda shirt did you wear?". So I'm thinkin... what kinda question is that but tell her anyway. She starts screaming and stuff and I'm like "Ok, whats going on?"
And she goes "I'm just reading this magazine and there is an ad where a guy is looking for a girl he saw at the Fest Van Cleef" and she tells me how he descirbes the girl and I'm like "Ok no doubt, he is looking for me"
I would post the ad but it's in german so you wouldn't understand it anyway but how cRaZy is that? Have you ever been searched via ad in a magazine? The ad goes on like I was to shy to go over to you because you were with all those girls but please E-Mail me and it has a Mailadresse also. Haha. I can't believe this. And what a coincidence that my friend read that ad because I never read that magazine- I just would have never known.
So I wrote him an Email and now I'm waiting for a replay. But he put that ad in like two weeks ago so he might have thought I'd never answer.. so I'm waiting now.

1 cup soymilk
1 cup Cascadian Farm® frozen organic strawberries
1 container (6 oz) Yoplait® Original 99% Fat Free harvest peach yogurt
2 tablespoons honey
10 paper cups (3-oz size)
10 craft sticks (flat wooden sticks with round ends)

1. Place soymilk, strawberries, yogurt and honey in blender or food processor. Cover; blend on high speed about 1 minute or until smooth.

2. Fill each cup with about 1/4 cup yogurt mixture. Place cups in freezer until partially frozen, about 45 minutes.

3. Insert sticks; freeze until firm, about 1 hour 30 minutes. To serve, remove cups.

Oh, how I love the Internet- you never know what you may find. Toady I stumbled across a lovely blog called thingsweforget. And it's the most amazing idea. It's not new and there are prolly tons of people who already do things like him/her, but sometimes you just need a push to do something like that as well.
I L O V E this idea so: I'm thinking about starting the same.

The same what? Well the Blog-Owner (Boy/Girl I don't know) designs Post-It notes and leaves them in public. They always have some sort a message. And than there is always a picture of where he/she left it. Ah, amazing. I think I'm gonna start today!

This time it was kinda hard to find a great card. Most of them were how someone missed their dad or something like that since it was Father's Day. No card really said "DAD I LOVE YOU"- and I do love my dad! I'm such a daddy-girl. We laugh at the same jokes, have great talks and hour-long phonecalls in the middle of the night... He's done so much for me and he means the world to me.

I found one card, though which made me think of my dad because he loved his dad just as much as I love mine. But my father's dad died when he was only 18. I wish he'd had more time with him!

I just read Cosmoguy and it said they'll shoot the Sex and the City Sequel this summer/fall starting august 19th.

I'm thinking about getting a Tattoo. Well, I've been thinking about it a while but I think I finally know where I want it and what it'll be. I want something small, so that its not always THERE.. you know?!? And since my one true Love is Music I want it to have some kind of Connection with that. I decided to get the Tattoo behind my left Ear a while ago. Behind the Ear because thats close to... well the Ears. haha. And without them I wouldn't know Music. Plus you can hide it behind you Hair if you want to or show it.. always depending on what Hairstyle you wear. Left b/c for me left is the soft side of the Body, the feminine one.. closer to the Heart. I always felt that way, I dunno why. So first I was thinking the outline of a Heart. But now I'm thinking about a Clef (I think thats the english word for it), a "Music Key". I found a nice Example online, so I think I'm finally gonna go get an Appointment.
I know Tattoos behind the Ears are kinda en vogue (at least in Germany they are) and the idea is not like "WOW" so new or unique or whatever but I Love it and I think thats all that matters since I'll have to wear it.
